LEAVES, STUDY PERMISSIONS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS

College Leave 

Based on acceptable reasons, students are allowed to take time off from college. The maximum total leave time is two semesters during the study, with the permission of the Director of the Vocational School, with an application for leave submitted every semester. Permission to leave for more than two semesters up to a maximum of four semesters must obtain special permission from the Chancellor at the recommendation of the Director.

A new leave permit can be given in the third semester for diploma 3 students when they have fulfilled 40 SKS with a minimum IP of 2.00. Leave applications are submitted no later than one month before the registration period for the relevant semester ends.

This college leave permit will be used to determine the study period. If there is a study leave permit, then it is not counted as a study period, but if the study leave without permission then the study leave period is still counted as an active period in relation to the study period in question.

Permission not to attend lectures

  1. Ijinn not attending lectures are given to students for the following reasons:
    • Sick
    • Envoys of activities carrying the name UGM
  2. The permit is granted if it is accompanied by supporting documents

Student Address

Given the importance of smooth communication between students and the Management of the Civil Engineering Diploma Program at SV UGM, especially those related to academic problems, students are required to provide information about the student’s address (both the address of origin/parents and the address in Yogyakarta as clearly as possible, and complete with a telephone number). /mobile phones).

If for some reason the address is not reachable by post, please show/inform the nearest address that can be reached by post.

If there is a change of address, it is the responsibility of the student concerned to report or inform the Academic Section of PDTS SV UGM for further data collection.

Based on the foregoing, starting from the time the student registers for the first time, the student’s address registered in the Academic Section is considered valid until there is a notification of a change of address by the student concerned. If at a later date there is a notification by post from the administrator that does not reach the student’s address, then the administrator is no longer responsible for this.

Student Scholarship

In order to help overcome student difficulties in the area of availability of funds to support teaching and learning activities, the Civil Engineering Diploma Program also seeks scholarships from various sources.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the following requirements are specified:

  1. Active as a student in the semester
  2. Photocopy of valid Semester Student Card
  3. Photocopy of valid ID card
  4. Copy of C1 / Family Card that is still valid
  5. The minimum GPA is in accordance with the provisions of the scholarship provider
  6. Not/recipient of scholarships from other foundations/agencies
  7. Certificate of parental income known to the village head/lurah/local official
  8. Fill out the form provided
  9. and other matters adjusted to the scholarship funder
